it was probably produced for the Collection
Of Oldies compilation in November 1966.

HANK YOU GIRL. This was the last demo before Dick James music became Northern Songs. The serial number on the disc is TEM.1687/8 1610/1035. Serious bidders only. These demos were produced in very small numbers and are incredibly scarce. It comes
in it's original brown sleeve and the record
is VG+ to Ex.

FROM ME TO YOU-ORIGINAL

This is an VERY RARE UK DICK JAMES MUSIC LIMITED, publishers DEMO DISC of THE BEATLES single "FROM ME TO YOU" c/w THANK YOU GIRL. The record has off-white labels with red lettering and they are very rough to the touch. To the right of the spindle is the ID - TEM.1687 / 8 and underneath 1610 / 1035. The run out says 7XCE 17329-3-1-1 - 10. The disc looks only in GOOD condidtion as it has light but visible marks and has been played a number of times, but when played, it plays excellently, with only a little noise at the fade. However, I feel thet now this is more a trophy than a record to play and is very suitable for framing as a genuine BEATLES RARITY! It comes in it's original plain brown paper 7" sleeve and even still has the brown paper bag it was delivered in!
