HOME RECORDINGS AND DEMOS
1958 That'll Be The Day
In Spite Of All Danger (edited) VG ANT 1 EXP
This is the Quarry Men acetate and the earliest known recording of The Beatles.  It features John, Paul,
and George on guitars with Colin Hanton on drums and John "Duff" Lowe on bass. Recorded at Percy
Phillips' recording facility in Liverpool. These tracks are mono.
mid 1960 LIVERPOOL' REHEARSALS (BRAUN - KIRCHHERR TAPE) EX WILD, PUT, BK EXP
These recordings are commonly referenced as being recorded at one of The Beatles' homes in Liverpool or,
more frequently,  somewhere in Germany.   One reference that I see no comment on is Alan William's statement
in his book "The Man Who Gave The Beatles Away" (pages 104-114) in regard to recording The Beatles in the
basement of his Jacaranda Club and sending the [poor quality] tapes to club owners and promoters in Germany.
To me, this would seem like a good possibility for the source of these tapes
