This was a special show for the Liverpool fan club. The surviving recordings have become the definitive full-length 1963 concert recording. Several other 1963 live performances exist which have better sound quality but they are abbreviated or incomplete performances. An additional audience recording exists from Bournemouth in August 1963 but that recording does not circulate and it's quality is not verified.

This performance survives from two sources. One is the only surviving excerpts of video footage. The other is almost the entire broadcast recorded by a fan off the TV speaker. This fan recording is missing the intro and the outro is cut (both can be heard on the video sources). Luckily, the fan recording is quite reasonable quality. Some sources edit the audio from the video source into the fan recording. To maintain the ambient continuity of the fan recording, it's presented in its entirety. The full intro and outro from the video sources have been edited in.
