PledgeMusic Handmade CDR Song List
The PledgeMusic description of this disc was was vague and, in my opinion, a bit misleading. Although worded differently, the description would seem to imply that the contents were the same as the iPod Nano (with an equally vague description). However, this disc omits MANY important tracks that appear on the iPod.

In addition, the organization of the files on this disc is certainly less than ergonomic. You have to go through numerous folders to access some of the individual songs and there is very little chronology to the order. The MP3s range from 192kbps to 320 kbps.

On a personal note, while I'm certain this disc can be an economical goldmine to many Carina fans, I'm a bit dissapointed in it. I've been a Carina fan for over eight years and have an extensive collection of her recordings. I clearly anticipated to already have a large majority of the tracks but, as it turns out, the disc offered only eight tracks that were new to me. And those where merely techno remixes which I'm not terribly fond of. I was really hoping to fill in some gaps in my collection of the "Glenwood Sessions" and "Acoustic In Space" both of which DID appear on the iPod.

Certainly, I LOVE Carina's handmade discs. In this case, the cover is cool and it's great to have a handwritten note from Carina (I actually got two notes). It's convenient to have the rarer tracks in one place but, for me, it's primarily about the music itself and I, essentially, paid $100 for eight songs that I'll VERY rarely listen to. If I had known the track list, I might have spent the money on a different pledge incentive that I would have gotten more out of.
